Fall Has Officially Arrived! The weather is cooler, the air is crisper, and the leaves are turning into those wonderful fall colors.
Here at the resort, we are thankful as we think ahead to fall and winter while we reflect on what a great/challenging summer we have had.
As I look back to the last few months I appreciate more and more what we have been able to accomplish in providing an amazing place for many of you to take respite from your busy schedules. Although shorthanded most of our summer, the staff that we do have has been dedicated, each and every one of them has gone above and beyond to bring this experience to each of you that have joined us.
That said I want to thank each and every one of you for supporting us and for your kindness and patience as we navigate through challenges brought on by COVID. Sometimes we did falter, learned from it and hopefully improved our services going forward.
We also thank our staff for all of their efforts to do more than ever due to short staffing. They lived our Values every day – Compassion, Courage, Respect, Play & Integrity to ensure your visit was as enjoyable as possible.
I hope that you and your family are staying healthy. There are so many issues in regards to mental health due to the coping with COVID and I hope you found ways to recharge your soul. I love that our guests say crossing the Hood Canal Bridge feels like a huge weight has lifted from their shoulders and then they start to relax even more as they enjoy the Olympic Peninsula.
