TOUCHET VALLEY COMMUNITY SHOWCASE
Harvest & Harmony presents the 2nd Annual Touchet Valley Community Showcase being held Saturday, April 18th at the Columbia County Fairgrounds from 12-3pm. This event will feature local businesses and industry professionals who will have a space to share their skills, talents and knowledge. Come together and learn from each other and make our community stronger! This event is free for all ages.
Additionally, you are invited to take part in our Drug Take Back and Paper Shredding Event at the Showcase. This event is designed to help residents safely dispose of unused or expired medications while also protecting their personal information. Bring your old prescriptions for proper, no-questions-asked disposal, and take advantage of on-site paper shredding services to securely destroy sensitive documents (up to 3 bankers boxes or the equivalent). It’s a simple way to keep your home safe, prevent misuse, and reduce identity theft—all while supporting a cleaner, healthier community. Sponsored by the Columbia County Sheriff's Department, Columbia County Public Health, Dayton Coalition for Youth & Families, Harvest & Harmony, Port of Columbia, and private donors. Held at the Columbia County Fairgrounds in Dayton.

MONTHLY CLASSES
The Blue Mountain Station Co-Op is interested in bringing back Monthly Classes at the Market!
There are so many talented people in and around our community, we would love to bring back monthly classes at the market to share these skills/knowledge with our community members! Whether that be a cooking class, gardening, painting, etc... the possibilities are endless.
The goal is to really connect with the community this year and we feel one of the best way to do that is to learn from each other! We would love to get a list together of people interested in teaching a class as well as a list of classes people are interested in taking, so we can start the planning and scheduling!
Send us a message at: bmscoopmarket@gmail.com or give us a call at 509-731-3746, or just stop by the Co-op Tuesday-Saturday 11am-6pm!

The Liberty Theater - 2026 Variety Show
HELLO, MY NAME IS…
APRIL 17-26 (2 Weekends)
Directed by Jae Goodridge and Samantha Steinhoff
This year’s show has 60 local talented performers participating, with many newcomers to our stage! Jae Goodridge, one of the show Directors said, “what I love most about directing the Variety Show is giving people the opportunity to experience being a part of community theater, especially those who never thought they could perform on a stage, or learn choreography, or hear an audience applaud them for their talents. Watching their confidence build and seeing them discover how fun it is to come together and perform with people from all different age groups, backgrounds, and abilities is my motivation for doing this.” In addition to our newcomers, a number of families and married couples are represented as well. The cast and crew are comprised of a wide span of ages with our youngest being 5 years old and our oldest is 80 with everything in between.
Tickets $12-$15-$18 online at libertytheater.org
Or at the box office Tues & Fri 2-5 pm

JASPER MOUNTAIN TRAIL FEST 2026
Early registration for the 2026 Jasper Mountain Trail Fest closes on April 15, the last chance to register at the early-season runner price. If you’re planning to join us on June 20, 2026, this is a great time to secure the lower price.
Since this race is entirely volunteer-organized and the main annual fundraiser supporting habitat restoration, trail maintenance, and wildlife conservation at Jasper Mountain Reserve, early registrations truly help us prepare for a beautiful and safe race weekend. They are also incredibly encouraging while we are out there raking, mowing, and preparing the trails over the coming weeks.
Register for the race HERE
All race details for the weekend, including the 52 Mile-4 Person Relay, Marathon, Half Marathon, and 4 Mile Green Trail Sprint, plus camping and logistics, are explained in detail on the registration link above. Whether you come to test your competitive spirit, the scenery, or simply the joy of running on beautifully maintained forest and mountain trails, come challenge yourself and do something great for your health! Just picture yourself running those ridgelines with us on June 20, 2026!
Whether you’re new to Jasper Mountain Trail Fest, enjoy our Race-Day Video from Last Year, filmed from sunrise to sunset across the ridges and forests of Jasper Mountain Reserve. The video comes with groovy music that captures the freedom, rhythm, and yes: the quiet “sexiness” of mountain running and is meant to put you into that serene trail-running mood! Watch the Race Day video HERE
We hope to see many of you back on Jasper Mountain the weekend of June 20th, 2026!
