Happy September β As summer begins to wane and makes way for shorter days and cooler temperatures, I feel like we need to make the most of this month. The good news is that we have some exciting events to look forward to with two special dinners, Guardian Cellars winemaker dinner and Red Dog Farm dinner.
Another thing to celebrate is Grandparent's Day. This one for me is especially great because I have just become a grandparent for the 3rd time, and for those of you that don't know, being a grandparent has turned out to be way more fun than being a parent.
Come enjoy the Port Ludlow Art League's Labor Day Art Fair hosted on the front lawn at the Inn on Sat, September 3rd from 10am to 3pm. It's always great to see the artistic talent of our community members.
Wooden Boat Festival (Sept 9-11) returns this year (in person!) with festivities for all ages to enjoy Port Townsend's rich maritime culture and the Jefferson County Farm Tour weekend is set for Sept 16-18 to celebrate locally grown food, fiber, and farm-made products. Take part in a self-guided tour at some of our favorite stops including: Finnriver, Kodama and SpringRain.
We hope that all of the guests that have the opportunity to enjoy the long Labor Day weekend with friends and family appreciate all of the hard working staff that turned up to do their best to make your experience great.
