Happy October –
This is one of the best times of the year for me, here in the Pacific Northwest. I have always loved the transition between summer and fall. How the days get cooler, the trees begin to turn to those amazing fall colors, and the air just feels and smells cleaner.
But my very favorite thing about fall has got to be the farm fresh vegetables, as much as I love all of the variety summer offers there's nothing better that a well roasted squash or root vegetable. YUM!
This is also a great time to get away, if even just for a day or two. Take advantage of the lower rates and more open availability that the fall brings. We also have a couple of packages that are perfect for this time of year, see one of them below and our website for the rest.
We enjoyed learning about wine from Guardian Cellars vintner at our most recent wine dinner. Our next event will be to learn more about Red Dog Farm and taste some wine on 9/29. We have a few tickets left if you act quickly.
I hope to see many of you this season experiencing the warmth and comfort of our guest rooms as well as our winter menu items.
