Panthers for the WIN!
The Panther football team celebrated its first EVER playoff win on Friday night with a 55-0 rout of Marion County. This week they proceed to round two. Congratulations!

Playoffs Round 2: Game Day Guide
TONIGHT is our round TWO home football playoff game! 

  • Panthers will play the Donoho Falcons at 7 p.m.
  • There will be a pep rally tomorrow at 2:40 p.m. in the gym.
  • Advanced tickets will be available in the high school office until 3 p.m. today Tickets are $8 for everyone (students and adults). Please have check or correct change for advanced ticket purchase.
  • Please join us for tailgating in the smokehouse behind the home stands before the game! Bring your favorite game foods and enjoy the fun! There will be heaters in the smokehouse to keep you toasty warm.
  • Wear school colors - BLUE, RED, or WHITE.  
  • Jr. High Cheerleaders will be painting faces and spraying hair for $1 each.
  • Shakers will be passed out for the game (at conclusion of game, please return in containers at the end of bleachers so they can be reused).
  • There will be NO reserved parking for the playoff games.
  • Please note: the only passes accepted are AHSAA-issued coaching passes. Mars Hill family passes are not accepted for playoff games (per AHSAA rules)
  • Support your Elementary PTO with the halftime football throwing contest! Footballs will be for sale ($1 donation for each throw) at the game.
  • The game will be broadcast on 93.9 "The Score" WYTK. Pregame will begin at 6:30 p.m. before kickoff at 7:00. 
  • Come loud and proud... it’s the playoffs!!
Students Selected for Youth Leadership Shoals
Congratulations to Lucy Clark and Garrett Cox who have been selected for the Youth Leadership Shoals program hosted by the Shoals Chamber of Commerce! The nine-month program is designed to enhance students' skills in leadership, professionalism, communication, team building, history, culture, business and economic development.
Order Your Spirit Buttons!
The Spirit Store is taking now orders for spirit buttons for all winter and spring sports! Buttons are $5 each and will be ready December 1. Order your child's individualized button by clicking the link below.

Panther Cross Country Competes at State Meet
Congrats to Mars Hill Cross Country on a great season! The teams competed at State last Saturday with the boys' team finishing 8th in the state and the girls' team finishing 10th. Sydney McKinnon was top finisher for the girls' team in 25th place, and Brock Windham was top finisher for the boys' team in 26th place. Go Panthers!!
MH Marching Band Takes the Field
Congratulations to the Mars Hill Marching Band on their first field performance! Great job... we're proud of you!
Fishing Team Finishes Second
Congratulations to the Mars Hill fishing team on another great finish! Last Saturday they competed in the second stop on the Red Warrior Tournament Trail, with Hunter Bridges and Will Davis finishing second place.
