MH vs. Shoals Christian (Bible Bowl V): Game Day Guide
  • Tonight's game time: 7:00 p.m. at Panther Stadium
  • Senior Night program will begin at 6:30 p.m. on the field
  • Senior Night programs will be available for purchase
  • Panther Fest for elementary students will be from 4-7 p.m. in the old gym
  • Wear school colors... be loud and proud!
Panther Fest Updates
Tonight's Panther Fest activities have been moved to the old gym from 4 - 7 p.m.

The Color Run will continue as planned at 4:30 p.m. Those who would like to run should meet at the bottom of the ramp. Bring a white shirt to wear so that the colors will show!

Drinks and desserts will be available in the old gym during Panther Fest. The concession stand will be opening early to accommodate your dinner needs.

The tennis ball contest will be held at halftime.

Panther Volleyball Team Area Runners-Up
The Panther Volleyball team are the 2018 1A Area Runners Up! They begin regional play today (Friday, October 26) at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville. Go Panthers!
Congratulations to the MHBS Winners in the Alabama Renaissance Faire Art Contest!

Congratulations to Emily Cooper, Silas Ashley, Sam Ashley, Kalynn Howton, Ryder Willingham, Lilly Hamm, and Maria Barnes for placing in the annual Alabama Renaissance Faire Art Contest.

These students will be presented with their book awards at the Renaissance Faire on Sunday, October 28 at 2 p.m. Their artwork will be on display at the Kennedy Douglas Center for the Arts through November 2.

Congratulations, MHBS Fishing Team!
Last Saturday, the MHBS Fishing Team fished the first stop on the Red Warrior Tournament trail. Congratulations to Elijah Hester and Brannan Rippey for their first place finish with over 13 pounds. MH finished first place as a team for the most weight, with fish caught by Jack Irby, Caleb Heaped, and Hunter Bridges adding to the overall team total.
Cross Country Finishes Regular Season Strong
Congratulations to the Panther Cross Country team, who finished out their regular season with a strong meet at the St. Bernard Oktoberfest Invitational last weekend. Sydney McKinnon came in 10th in the Girls 1A-3A Division. Top finishers were Sydney McKinnon, Barkley Hargett, Brock Windham, and Matthew Moran.

They will continue to the Sectional Meet on November 1. Go Panthers!
Elementary P.E. Program and Silent Auction
On November 1, join us for our elementary P.E. program and Silent Auction! The auction includes gift baskets, getaway, gift cards, spa packages and more, and all proceeds will benefit our elementary classrooms and school clubs.

Bidding will begin at 10 a.m. in the old gym and end 30 minutes after the conclusion of the program.
"Check, Please": Senior Play 2018
Seniors will be presenting their Senior play, “Check Please" on Saturday, November 3rd beginning at 6:00. This is a dinner theatre! Each table seats 8 people and tickets are $15. Tickets are available from Cathy Condra in the business office only and they must be bought by November 1st. This is a super cute show and the food is being catered by The Red Clay Epicurean. 
Seussical Jr Auditions
Auditions for our Middle School Musical, Seussical Jr will be held Monday, October 29. Choral students will be able to audition during school. Band and art students may audition right after school or work out another time with Mrs. Davenport. Roles are posted outside of the chorus room. Students that do NOT want a lead (singing) role do not have to audition but must fill out a form.

2018-19 Yearbooks
Yearbooks are on sale! During the month of October, you can save $5 by ordering your yearbook for only $60. After October 31, yearbook prices will increase to $65 until March 1 when the price will increase to $80. Order early to avoid price increases. Forms are available in the middle/high school office, or you can use the link from the MHBS website to place your order online.
