Through My Lens

 July 2020

We all look at life through our own lens

What is this elusive thing called happiness that we seem to chase day after day? It is something we all desire but maybe we looking for it in all the wrong places?
Perhaps another goal, as we journey down this path called life, is to look right where we have been planted.

                                                   Until Next Time....

Happiness

It's a million dollar industry

Selling this thing called happiness.

Twenty-five books on the bestseller list

So it's of great interest to all of us.

Some say you are hard wired to be happy,

Others say it can be taught.

Your environment can affect your mood

But a higher purpose must also be sought.

Happy people have better habits

They nurture their body, mind and soul.

Those always stressed or filled with fear

Will never reach the happiness goal.

But to chase after happiness is an elusive thing

For seeking happiness alone is not the key.

But to live a life with meaning and purpose

Then happy you're bound to be.

The second-rate mind is only happy when it is thinking with the minority.
The first-rate mind is only happy when it is thinking."
