One of the primary goals of the South Lane School District is to foster a culture of care and belonging within our schools and community. In support of this mission, Lincoln Middle School has established a Family Engagement Committee that meets regularly to plan, organize, and implement various community events, all offered at no cost to participants.

On Friday, February 21st, Lincoln Middle School proudly hosted its second FamilyFun Night Winter Festival. Families enjoyed an engaging evening filled with activities, including creating glitter slime, engineering catapults, decorating delicious cookies baked by Lisa Kelley from Lincoln, making hot chocolate, singing karaoke, and testing their athletic skills in pickleball and dodgeball. Additionally, participants showcased their knowledge in a fun trivia competition. The event was filled with joy, providing a wonderful opportunity for our students, families, and community members to connect and strengthen their relationships.
