June is a time to recognize and celebrate the incredible achievements of our students as they reach important milestones. On Saturday, June 7th, we will proudly celebrate the graduating seniors of Cottage Grove High School and Al Kennedy High School as they walk across the stage and begin their next journey beyond high school.



Then, on Thursday, June 12th from 6:00–7:15 p.m. at CGHS, Lincoln Middle School staff along with Cottage Grove High School staff will join together in a special drive-through celebration to honor our 8th grade students as they transition to high school. Students are invited to roll through in any ride—car, bike, or something creative—while LMS staff say goodbye and CGHS staff welcome them to their new school. Following the drive-through, students can stay to receive a promotion certificate, enjoy a sweet treat, take photos, and celebrate with family and classmates.

Let’s come together as a community to celebrate these exciting transitions and applaud the hard work, resilience, and growth our students have shown this year. The future is bright—and it starts right here!
