Today we celebrate 10 years of doing business in Flemington
It's hard to believe that ten years ago we pulled the brown paper off the windows, turned on the OPEN Sign and began a journey that has been very rewarding. We have met a lot of great people along the way. Our customers, who we like to think of as our friends.
We have enjoyed some great successes and a few setbacks along the way, but I am still just as excited to go to work every morning as I was that very first day. We have received many awards and accolades from the local community and our corporate office for our efforts and we still strive to do better for our customers, our friends every day.
We know you have choices where you buy your awards and we thank you for choosing Crown Trophy of Flemington and hope that whenever you think of awards, apparel, varsity jackets, promotional items or signs and banners, you think of us first.
I also want to thank everyone who has ever worked for me here. Your efforts and contributions to our success are never forgotten by me. Remember, the door is always open, we'd love to see you again.
Of course they say behind every good man is a good woman, and I have three. (Not like Robert Kraft though). The first is my wife who said "do it" when I approached her about opening a franchise and has been supportive of me from day one.
The second is Jenn Izzo who has been with me the longest and who I don't think you could ever find a more dedicated employee anywhere. Jenn does it all here, customer service, engraving, production, ordering. She is my right hand (wo)man. And I am confident when I have to leave the office for extended periods the place can run without me because of Jenn and Susan.
And the third is our Office Manager, Susan Filonovich. We worked together 25 years ago at an insurance company. As my business started to grow I kept saying "I need Susan." Jenn told me to call her so I did, and she has been with us for 8 years and making my job easy ever since. She always seems to be one step ahead of me.
A great crew, a great product at a great price, and great customers. No wonder I enjoy going to work so much.
Truly though, I want to thank all of you reading this for making our first 10 years so enjoyable, and I look forward to the next 10 years as well.
