News and Updates 📰
  • We are excited to announce a new Mubarak Law Team Member. Attorney Ben Hunter will join Mubarak Law as Of Counsel. We will now be able to offer services as it relates to Wills, Trusts, Estates, and Probate. Attorney Hunter has been working within this area of law for nearly ten years.

  • President Trump signed an executive order extending the ban for employment-based visas. There are exemptions for food processing workers and health care workers assisting in the coronavirus outbreak. The measures will not apply to people already in the United States;

  • On June 18, the DACA program and the “Dreamers” were saved by the Supreme Court, blocking the Trump administration’s attempt from ending the program;

  • Non-detained hearings at the immigration courts are now postponed until July 20, 2020. This is latest update and subject to change;

  • Visa tracker is an app where you can check your case updates, access the visa bulletin (March is now available), and read news related to immigration matters in the United States. Click here to download the app in the Apple Store or Google Play;

  • You can now make your monthly payments online, click here to make a payment today.

DACA Decision
The Supreme Court rejected President Donald Trump's attempt to end the DACA program. The program has approximately 700,000 young immigrants who were brought to the United States illegally as children and it allows the "Dreamers" to register with the government and, if they comply with the requirements, to obtain a work permit and live in the US.
