T-Shirt Quilt Class

T-Shirt Quilts have been popular for a long time. It's the perfect way to preserve all those shirts you've been saving that you just can't get rid of. A quilt made from all those t-shirts often tells the story of someone's high school or college years. It might represent sports played or in my case, all the schools where I taught. A t-shirt quilt becomes a treasure that can be enjoyed and passed down from generation to generation. In this class we will make a basic t-shirt quilt using 9 or 12 t-shirts. Crazy Quilt Class Always wanted to make a Crazy Quilt? Create crazy blocks with the templates in this Creative Grids set. All of the pieces can be cut from those odd sized scraps in your stash or choose your favorite line. The tips are trimmed when needed so the pieces sew together perfectly every time. Embellish the seams, if desired, with your favorite decorative stitches and threads. Make an entire quilt or sew them into a scrappy, decorative border. "Goodnight Irene" Quilt Class

"Goodnight Irene" has become one of our very favorite quilts! We first made this beauty in our Sassy Scrappers Club. It became so popular with staff and customers. Then we got a few requests to have a class. So here ya go! Join us to learn a fun way to create those 16 patch blocks and create either a real scrappy quilt or maybe a little more controlled quilt using your favorite line. We are expecting lots of beautiful new fabric! The delivery dates begin in July and we are crossing our fingers that those dates will be true. Here are some of the fabrics we're impatiently waiting on!

In case you've never heard of them, all of the patterns here are called CLP (Cut Loose Press) patterns and are from Creative Grids. They're only $3.99! Some use special rulers/tools and some don't. We've had them in a notebook for a while. We decided to create a big display so you could see them easier. Those that use special rulers have those tools displayed with the pattern. If we run out of a special tool you need, we will be happy to order it for you! We also have a few samples of CLP samples to inspire you. Come check them out!

Reminiscent of a scrappy sampler, this colorful queen size quilt (88x88) contains a variety of traditional blocks, from log cabins to Dresden fans. Each month for ten months, we will meet and you’ll receive directions and fabrics from the Memories collection by Kaye England for Wilmington Prints for a section of the 88” x 88” quilt. Join now for $10 and we will charge your credit card each month on the day of class or you may pay in full and save $50. As most of you know, shipping has been a nightmare and just about everything is delayed. Our goal is to begin in August and finish up in May, 2022. Attending classes is not necessary but we will schedule one or two for each month of the sew along. Your monthly kits will include all fabrics for making the top and binding.
