Letter from the Director

We’re so happy to reach out again after another successful and blessed quarter. We want to start by giving thanks to God for His continued guidance, grace, and the incredible opportunity to serve those on the path to recovery.

This letter is a little different. It’s not written from the Directors’ view but a view from our whole team.

This season, we’d like to pause and reflect on the life of a beloved former team member, George Vanzandbergen.

Though George transferred to Safe Harbor of Bucksnort some years ago, his legacy and influence remain strong here in Erin. He was not only a faithful servant of God but a true warrior for the Kingdom — always teaching, encouraging, and uplifting everyone around him.

If you ever had the privilege of meeting George, you know he left a lasting impression. His kind words, passionate faith, and gentle spirit were a blessing to all. While we grieve his passing from this world, we rejoice knowing he is now with our Heavenly Father, free and fully restored.

As we remember George, we find comfort in the words of Scripture:

“The Lord is a warrior; the Lord is his name.” – Exodus 15:3 (NIV)

George truly embodied this verse — a warrior for Christ in both word and deed.

Please continue to pray for the Vanzandbergen family and for all those whose lives he touched.

Staff of the Quarter - Al Rossi

We are excited to honor Pastor Alfred Rossi as our Staff of the Quarter!

Chaplain Rossi came to us all the way from California five years ago, bringing with him a lifelong dedication to serving those battling Substance Use Disorder. Throughout his career, he has faithfully combined his clinical experience with his calling to preach and teach the Word of God.

Reaching the masses through the power of the Most High has always been a central mission at Safe Harbor of Erin, and Pastor Rossi exemplifies that mission daily. His wisdom, compassion, and unwavering love for Christ have made a profound impact on our community.



Pastor Rossi is deeply beloved by both staff and clients, and we are truly grateful for the light he brings to Safe Harbor. Thank you for everything you do, Pastor—we couldn’t do it without you!

Our Processes and Procedures at Safe Harbor of Erin are productive, success driven, and accurate. We strive for greatness through innovation and people. Our goal is to help men who have strayed from their path to Know God, Find Freedom, Discover Purpose, and Make a Difference. We are not able do all of this without our Corporate Partners!

Magnum Manufacturing in Erin, TN has been instrumental in the success of many men through this last quarter of 2025. The staff is second to none. Their down home atmosphere and loving approach with our men has created a peaceful work environment. They offer a competitive wage and treat everyone the same. Our men come home from Magnum saying things like, “I could be full-time out there” and “I like it because the treat me with respect”.
