Staff of the Quarter - Nick Higgins
We call him Program Coordinator EXTRAORDINAIRE — and if you know him, you know why! This man goes above and beyond in every way. The love, time, patience, and dedication he gives can only be driven by Christ working through him.
When Nick was a driver I remember telling the Director, “This guy can do more than just drive — he’s got something special.” I even guaranteed he would be a phenomenal Program Coordinator. And I thank God every day for giving me the words to speak up on his behalf.
God never steers us wrong — we just have to listen and act. I’m so glad I did, because this man has never fallen short. He is the definition of dedication and growth, and we’re beyond grateful to have him on our team.
So this quarter, we proudly spotlight and celebrate you. Thank you for all you do. May God bless you in ways you never saw coming. Great job, sir — you truly are our Program Coordinator EXTRAORDINAIRE!
Q & A with Nick
Q: WHAT MOTIVATES YOU AT WORK EACH DAY?
A: “My motivation is to give back what I’ve been given. God has called me to be where I am right now. Every day it strengthens me, God strengthens me. It is my desire to give back.”
Q: WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO OUTSIDE OF WORK?
A: “I like to spend time with family, kids. I like to play golf. I love football, basketball, all things sports and the outdoors."
Q: WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS YEAR – PERSONALLY OR PROFESSIONALLY?
A: “I am looking forward to growing more and more everyday. Surrendering to what He wants. I hope that I can pass that along to men that come into this program; sharing life experiences. Want to put myself in a position to better receive and carry out His will for my life.”
Q: FAVORITE PASSAGE IN THE BIBLE?
A: “II Peter 1:2-11. My favorite part is this – Verses 10 & 11: Therefore, brothers, be all the more diligent to confirm your calling and election, for if you practice these qualities you will never fall. For in this way there will be richly provided for you an entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”
