HPL received RFID Grant from
the William and Alice Mortensen Foundation

The William and Alice Mortensen Foundation awarded HPL a grant to support RFID (Radio Frequency Identification), which is a capital project designed to streamline and improve efficiency, protect library assets, and give customers increased ability for self-service at library locations.

Grab It! Build a Hydraulic Claw

Thursday, July 5, 1:30-3:30 pm
Design and build a hydraulic claw that works like the ones in the arcade. Move the upper cylinder and watch your claw open and close below. We have documents to get you started, but the final claw design up to you. Can you design a claw to pick up specific objects (worms, marshmallows, balls)?
