During the month of July we not only celebrate Independence Day, but also the service men and women who have made our freedom possible. These individuals have sacrificed so much for our ability to live in the best country in the world.
Yes, we are far from perfect, but together we strive to live in a country that provides opportunity and freedom.
I think it's a good time to remember that even with serious
imperfections, we can rise above the challenges and do better. Let's practice what many veterans have taught us. We should all strive to be honorable men and women. We should take great pride in our country and be willing to step up and serve in whatever role we can.
Harmony Hospice is proud of our patients who have served. We listen to the many stories they share. Their experiences can be both heartbreaking and joyful, but what stands out the most is the pride they feel in serving our country. We have staff who have been assigned to the local VA home for many years. They continue to deliver care with love and respect.
Let's take care of each other with love and respect.
