The City of Brampton’s first-ever Mayor’s Budget has been adopted. The budget includes the lowest tax increase in the GTA and affirms the Brampton advantage as a place to invest, raise a family, work, grow a business, and enjoy a great quality of life.

City Pilots Residential Rental Licensing Program

To ensure safer living conditions for tenants and limit housing related complaints, Brampton is piloting a rental licensing program in select City wards. Starting January 1, landlords of four residential units or less must obtain a licence.
