Lace up your shoes, get your team back together from your CYO Days and come out and have a little fun! The mission of the CYO Adult Athletics is to provide an opportunity for adults in the Archdiocese of San Francisco to meet new people, build community and put into practice the Christian values of respect, love, and compassion through athletics and fellowship. CYO Athletics is starting two co-ed basketball leagues-advanced and intermediate-this summer. Games will take place on Sundays between June 24- August 5. The Archdiocese of San Francisco is looking for a Social Media Manager
The Social Media Manager will implement and continue the development of the Archdiocese Social Media, developing awareness of the Archdiocese and its mission, generating inbound traffic and encouraging communication and evangelization on all social network sites. This role coordinates with the social media presence of the Archbishop and other archdiocesan officials, coordinates and collaborates with the departments and offices of the archdiocesan pastoral center in solidifying their presence in the networking world.
�Manage social media campaigns and day-to-day activities. Duties include online advocacy, writing editorial, community-outreach efforts, promotions, etc.
�Manage presence in social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter, and other similar community sites, posting on relevant blogs, and seeding content into social applications as needed
�Become an advocate of the Archdiocese in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate
�Manage a Blogger outreach program and build an active brand ambassador network to spread the word about the Archdiocese
�Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs, and analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results
�Regularly feedback insights gained from social media monitoring to the Archbishop's staff and relevant ministries. Monitor trends in social media tools, trends and applications
�Creative, diplomatic, cool under pressure and fantastic interpersonal and presenting skills
�Strong project management and organizational skills
�Advanced knowledge and understanding of social media and networking platforms
�Deep knowledge of Roman Catholic life and culture, catholic social teaching.
�Strong and creative writing skills
�Ability to be able to respond outside of normal working hours
�Practicing Roman Catholic
