This is a fragment of a 1960's-era map, printed on glass. It's a subtle piece, hearkening back to the lost genre of paper road maps + the translucency of glass.
We contributed to the design of this ornament, making it super-specific to our beloved Fell's Point and tweaking font size and placement. By the way, it's made of raw steel, one of the most recycled materials around.
