Ministering the Gospel of Jesus Christ with Praying Pelican Missions, networking with local churches around the world, and connecting mission teams to life-changing ministry opportunities.
One-On-One
This month Nathan was able to lead a video call with Kenyan pastors in preparation for an exploratory Kenya trip that he will be taking there in January. A solid group of pastors is emerging that is understanding the vision of PPM Global and have the desire to GO! We are happy to be able to have some of our USA partners join this effort to encourage our African partners by sharing on our video calls as well!

Nathan is now digging deeper and developing relationships with these pastors in Kenya. He's hearing testimonies of how Jesus captured their hearts and called them into ministry. Through one-on-one calls. he continues to invest in future relationships and partnerships that we believe will turn into building up, encouraging and assisting the local church to reach and serve their community for Jesus Christ.

Through a lot of trial and error to get a good internet connection to be able to have these one-on-one calls, we are seeing pastors encouraged just by reaching out and showing that we care. With an eight-hour time change, Nathan usually wakes up to many messages from these amazing pastors sharing about their ministry and testifying of the faithfulness of God.

Flights are booked for the Kenya trip in January! To pull off this trip and begin empowering these pastors and their churches to go on mission, we are looking to raise $10,000. We already have about $7,000 toward this goal! If you are able, we would love for you to join in the launch of PPM GLOBAL AFRICA by giving a one-time or monthly gift through the Global Access Fund. And as always, we covet your prayers over all of the PPM Global planning that is taking place.
Costa Rica Pastor's Conference
Last year our yearly Pastor's Conference in Costa Rica was a virtual event, but this year we are excited to be gathering in person once again!

Our Costa Rican staff and board have been working hard to make sure we have a quality and safe conference. We are expecting about 100 pastors and spouses to attend.

Nate will be traveling to Costa Rica (November 18-20) to participate by encouraging our pastors to continue to plan not only to receive mission teams but to actually go through PPM Global. Thank you for your prayers for this very special event to unite our partners once again!
October Pictures!
October has brought some cooler weather to south Alabama and lots of fun Fall activities! The boys are playing recreational soccer, so a few evenings a week we head to the fields for practices and games. Lately, we have had to bundle up in blankets to stay warm, living in Costa Rica and South Florida for the past six years has definitely thinned our blood!

Homecoming in a small town is a family event! We watched Reagan walk in the Homecoming parade, attended the Homecoming football game, then the girls went to the Homecoming dance. It was a fun-packed weekend for sure! It was especially neat to see Abigail get all dressed up, it was her first time attending a dance!

We were all so excited that Laura's parents visited for a week...they hadn't seen the kids since before Coviid hit! We spent the week at soccer games, having Dad do small projects around the house, and introducing them to Buc-ee's - a famous rest-stop attraction. It was great to spend time with them, we are hoping that they come back sooner than later!

We wrapped up October with a visit from one of our closest friends, Taylor. She spent some time with our friends and PPM co-workers, Anna and Jacob, before coming to us. We were able to spend the weekend with them as well when we picked her up. It was a full week with soccer, a costume party, pumpkin carving, and a couple of puzzles. She's the best and blends right into our crazy life whenever she visits!

We are less than two months out from Christmas and the anticipation is starting to build here. For us, it's not about the presents, or Christmas Day itself, but about the season in which we celebrate, with expectancy, the birth of Jesus and the Gift that He is to each of us. We pray that as the next couple of months fill up with events and activities, that Jesus is the focus and priority in each of our lives.

We are so grateful for each of you, and pray that Jesus provides for all of your needs as you continue to trust in him.
