Post 67 Bridgton is hosting a 100 th Birthday Ball in honor of Lopeman-Potts Post 67.
The Ball Committee has been hard at work. They are recreating the Military Ball that was held in Bridgton November 1919. The extent detail that is going into this planning is amazing. Hundreds of china patterns gone over to find the right 1919 style. Special colors for the banners and bunting to be period correct. Fine dinning and a Floor show . Dancing to follow. Many of our comrades are coming dressed in 1919 Dough boy uniforms to pay homage to our founders. The elegant period gowns are spectacular. This is a formal event with proper attire only. If you can still wear your military uniform, please do so. WW 1 uniforms are available to rent if you do so desire or suit and tie. Evening gowns for the ladies.
