SAVE THE DATE - All Souls' Day, Sunday, November 2, 2025

Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery, 1:00 - 3:00 P.M.

All Souls' Day Celebration

Sunday, November 2nd

330 Berry Lane, Georgetown, TX 78626

1:00 - 3:00 P.M.

As we approach All Souls' Day, Our Lady wants to share that this year’s observance at the cemetery will be a little different. While we will still gather to honor our beloved departed, the traditional late afternoon Mass at St. Helen's will not take place this year due to the scheduling conflicts with the Sunday Mass across the Austin Diocese. We kindly invite each family to attend Mass at the church of your choice on November 2nd, allowing you to honor your loved ones in a personal and loving way.

Our beloved traditions will continue! We are excited to offer family blessings, refreshments, and the joyful act of spreading wildflower seeds, fostering a sense of community and connection among us. Not knowing how many priests or deacons will be able to come to the cemetery because of their regular Sunday obligations, all family blessings will be conducted around the water fountain in the St. Francis Garden.

Thank you for your understanding and support as we implement these changes this year. Our Lady remains dedicated to providing a serene and compassionate environment for all families as we honor our loved ones in spirit and love.

The All Souls' Day event will culminate with the traditional scattering of wildflower seeds and the serving of light refreshments.

Halloween Decorations and Artificial Flowers

A Note to All Owners of Burial Plots at Our Lady

Our Lady is reaching out to all owners of burial plots to pass on the Rules and Regulations of the cemetery to all your family members, relatives and friends who bring sentimental items to place on the gravesite. We understand the deep emotional connections that these items represent; however, it is essential for the well-being of our shared space that all plots adhere to the established guidelines.

To show respect for the upcoming celebrations and religious holy days, Our Lady will not remove any items from gravesites until November 5th. Beginning November 5th, all Halloween decorations and artificial flowers will be removed from the gravesites. Beginning November 10th, all baby gardens will be the next area to receive a “clean-up” day. As a reminder, only one item is permitted per space in the baby gardens.

Our Lady appreciates everyone who is committed to help maintain a tranquil cemetery that reflects our shared values of faith and respect for the grounds. Keeping Our Lady beautiful is a full-time and daily commitment to ensure it remains a place of peace and beauty for all who visit.
