A Note from Nina

I just want to thank all of you for your warm embrace from the day I started here at Grace two-and-a-half years ago. I have loved working here, and treasure the friendships I have made. I will be thinking of you all and the California sunshine as I learn to navigate living in snowy Colorado!

MUCH LOVE!!! <3

St. Francis Day Animal Blessing
October 5, 4:30 p.m.

Tell your friends and neighbors and animal lovers everywhere: We will be blessing animals on October 5, beginning at 4:30 p.m.

St. Francis of Assisi was known for his love for all of God's creation. There will be treats for animals and humans, and portraits of humans with their animals!
It's Time for Cookies for Kairos!

We've been invited once again to bake cookies for the Kairos weekend in October. This ministry reaches prison inmates with the love of God, and homemade cookies are a sweet,  tangible part of that.

Please package the cookies in clear, Ziploc-type bags (quart or gallon size is ideal). Please place only ONE DOZEN COOKIES in each bag. Please DO NOT USE tinfoil or wire twist ties (the cookies will be thoroughly inspected by the prison staff and this could delay or prevent entry).

Cookie donations should be stored at home or at church (frozen if stored longer than one week) and delivered to Grace by Sunday, October 13.

Contact Janet Marseilles or Janet Marshall with any questions.

Weekly Eucharist and Bible Study
Wednesdays
Eucharist at 9:30 a.m. | Bible Study at 10:00 a.m.

We are currently studying the parables of Jesus.

Every Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. a small and faithful group gathers for weekly Eucharist.  At these services, we learn about our ancestors in the faith (using the saints' day calendar from A Great Cloud of Witnesses ) and we pray for all those on our parish prayer list by name.

After the service (beginning at about 10:00 a.m.) we study scripture.
It is a free-wheeling sort of Bible study, with lots of time for questions and discussion. We talk about how the scripture applies to our daily lives. Please join us!
Remember:
Our Food Drive is Ongoing!

Please bring canned goods and non-perishables to Sunday services and leave them in the basket at the door. They will be blessed at the offering and passed on to those in need in our community.
