Costume Contest:

Registration to be in the costume contest will be held October 31,2019, from 5:00pm-5:30pm at the Dahlonega Gold Museum! They will have a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place as well as most original!

Trunk or Treat:

Free Candy & Activities! UNG office of Residence Life will be hosting this event and will be located in Parking lot 16 off of Chestatee Street on October 31, 2019 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm!

City of Dahlonega Announces New Hires
Downtown Development Authority Executive Director
The City of Dahlonega and Dahlonega Downtown Development Authority (DDA) are pleased to jointly announce the selection of the DDA’s new executive director. Following an extensive search Shannon Ferguson, a communications and marketing professional with more than 20 years’ experience in the public sector, has been named to lead the Authority staff in support of its Board.
Deputy Marshal, Chris Jones
The City of Dahlonega is pleased to announce the hiring of our first full-time Deputy Marshal, Chris Jones, who was most recently a Trooper First Class with the Georgia State Patrol. He worked this area as part of Post 37 from Cumming and already has a good working relationship with our Municipal Court. Chris has experience with the Georgia Department of Public Safety, as an accident re constructionist for a private company, and as a commercial and residential contractor.
