Every year, we bring flowers to school on the Feast of St. Therese to honor The Little Flower who said, "Upon my death I will let fall a shower of roses; I wish to spend my heaven in doing good upon the earth."
In addition, our parish community has finished constructing a Tiny House (see invitation to blessing and sending forth of the house below!), our students brought nearly 1,000 non-perishable food items to support St. Mary's Food Bank, and our 3rd and 8th Grade faith-filled servant-leaders collected commitments from all of our students on ways they will show kindness to honor St. Therese this month - displayed on paper roses throughout our school. It is clear that St. Therese is doing good on earth through our community in a very tangible way this year!
Also, the cover photo of this month's Northwest Catholic features some of our finest! Check out Kindergarten Allstars Brooklyn (left), Gio (center), and Shani (right) running in the sunshine!
