CLEFT OF THE ROCK BOARD MEMBERS AND VOLUNTEERS RETREAT
|
|
Cleft of the Rock Foundation, Inc. (COTR) held a retreat for it's board members and volunteers on the weekend of January 27th, 2024. The retreat consisted of an inspirational charge from guest speaker, Arlene Connelly (pictured centre), and 3 days of team building activities. Ms. Connelly presented her S.T.R.I.D.E. STEPS system to the team, giving them insight into how COTR could better develop its long-term strategic goals.
Arlene Connelly is the Founder, President & CEO of ISEE GROUP, LLC, an International Human Development Company focusing on building healthy relationships and strengthening families and communities. She is also a Life Enrichment Strategist and Servant Leader who has dedicated over 30 years to providing executive leadership, management, supervisory, and administrative expertise in the non-profit sector and higher education - serving adults, at-promise youth, families, and under-served populations.
Cleft of the Rock team members also became better acquainted with each other's personalities and work styles by completing the Color Code Personality Test, spearheaded by our very capable volunteer, Danielle Manborde. The team discussed ways to improve communication with each other, contribute to the organization, as well as how to complete assigned tasks and continue to push COTR forward. We look forward to making this retreat a yearly event!

Calling All Volunteers
Cleft of the Rock is looking forward to even greater things in the coming year. We have been able to accomplish a lot over a short five-year period with the help of volunteers just like you! We are growing! Grow with us! Helping doesn't have to be complicated. Just use what you know how to do to help. That's called volunteering! We are always in need of new volunteers and would greatly appreciate your time in any way that you can contribute. If you have teenagers who need hours for school, any time they volunteer with us can count towards their goal...even virtually.
