To seek God, and be Christ’s body in the world
Greetings!
Preparing for Sunday and Everyday!

Sunday's gospel reading contains the "Golden Rule" message, "Do to others as you would have them do to you." (Luke 6:31) Most times, the practice of treating others as we want to be treated is simple. Other times, it's a major challenge. May we appreciate the easy times and accept the times of discord remembering to call on God's guidance to restore harmony. Amen!
Calendar
NOTE: While Fr. Chris is on sabbatical, only one service, 10:00 AM, will be held on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of February, and March. The Rev. David Laquintano will be our celebrant for most of those Sundays. Early risers on the 2nd and 4th Sundays are welcome to attend the quiet 8:30 AM Rite II service at Christ Church, Ithan.

Sunday School
Business As Usual!

As usual, there will be a nice mix of fun and learning with Legos in Sunday School starting at 9:30 a.m. Newcomers are welcome and encouraged. The downstairs nursery for children 2 and younger will be open with Megan starting at 9:30 a.m. Please contact Ms. Deb if you have suggestions or questions.
Clothing Drive
Donation Opportunity!

Spring is coming! Time to go through your closet and thin out your wardrobe. St. John’s Episcopal Church in Norristown is in need of clothing, especially blue jeans and men's pants. Perhaps there are some gently used pairs in your closet that might benefit someone in need. There will be a clothes basket on the first floor of St. Martin's marked “Clothing for St John’s”. Any questions, please see Dennis Bingham. Thank you for your generosity!
Bible Study
Read. Discuss. Reflect.

After February 27th, Bible Study sessions will be replaced with Lenten services starting on March 6th. St. Martin's will have two Ash Wednesday Holy Eucharist services at 12:00 and 7:00 PM. Bible Study will resume after Easter on Wednesday, 24th.
Community Gathering
The Upper Room

St. Martin’s Church, Radnor and Christ Church, Ithan host “The Upper Room”, a mid-week conversational gathering for the community at the Gryphon Cafe, 105 W Lancaster Ave, Wayne. SWIC News
Art Exhibit and Forum

A unique exhibit that includes both still and video imagery will open at the St. David's Church, Wayne, Art Gallery this Friday, February 22 and run through Sunday, March 31. Both the plight of and the hope for modern day Christians in Iraq is depicted in the photography of world famous photographer Vincent Dixon. A forum, to which all are welcome, is to be held on Sunday, March 3rd, at 1:00 p.m. and is moderated by Vincent and The Rev. Chris Bishop.
Our SWIC mission team shares the amazing experience of visiting the St. George's School of the Redeemer, Baghdad. Seeing Sunni, Shia and Christian children learning together is an experience to treasure. Hope for the future of Iraq starts here. Thanks to the generosity of donors who helped us raise the money to help with school construction.
