Leadership Group Meeting
Our next Leadership Group Meeting will be held on Saturday, February 15th from 10am to Noon in the Meditation Room (Unity is having an event in the Fellowship Hall with Lisa Firestone) Please use the front entrance and go down the Hallway to the left to the Meditation Room.
Community Dialogue on our Mission and Purpose
There will be a Community Dialogue on our Mission and Purpose in the Fellowship Hall after our Sunday Service on February 16th from 1:30pm to 3:00pm.
Visioning Circle
Our next Visioning Circle will be after our Sunday service on February 23rd for about an hour starting at 1:30pm in our classroom/bookstore area.
Human Trafficking Awareness
CSLN and Unity will host a joint event addressing Human Trafficking Awareness on Sunday, March 2, 2025 from 10:45 am to 11:45 am in the CSLN classroom located in the hallway between Fillmore Hall and the front foyer.
Director of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese FREEDOM (Faith-based Response to Eradicate Enslavement: Didactic Outreach Ministry) and Ministry’s Director, Rev. Dr. Peter Spiro, will conduct a Human Trafficking Awareness and Mitigation presentation for our congregants to learn more about this modern day form of slavery and how we can have impact.
CSLN Annual Meeting And Election of Board of Trustees Members set for April 27, 2025
Our Community Annual Meeting will be held on April 27th after the Sunday Service. The Board of Trustees Nominating Committee is looking for qualified candidates to run for the Board for a 3-year term. We will be electing two new Board Members. If you are interested, please send an email to admin@cslnashville.org.
It has come to the attention of the Board that two current Board member terms are set to expire this year but they have only served a total of five years. It has been common practice for Board members to serve a total of six years (i.e. 2 – 3 year terms or 3 - 2 year terms per our Bylaws) before they have to take one year off before running for the Board again. Because of previous Bylaw changes 2 of our Board members fell thru the cracks. After consultation with our lawyer, it was recommended that the Board pass a resolution to allow these 2 Board members to complete the 6th year afforded all other board members. The Board will discuss and vote on passing this resolution at the next board meeting in February. This will simplify our future Board transitions.
Sincerely, The Board of Trustees, CSLN

We now have a critical resources list to assist those in need find the help that they are seeking! This list is directed to emergent situations including crisis events as well as everyday support for needs such as utility assistance, mental health support, medical and transportation assistance, amongst many other categories. This array of services is primarily under the umbrella of United Way's 211 information line. Anyone can access this to help themselves or others. The critical resources list is now available on our website under: More > Caring Hearts Corner. Click the download button for the PDF.
In order to make helping our community even easier, we now have a direct way to refer CSLN members to Caring Hearts for short-term help. The referral form gathers important information that is needed to assist our team members. Every referral request will be reviewed by our Caring Hearts team and responded to in a timely manner. We will have the referral form in next week's Caring Hearts corner.
How You Can Help:
You don’t need to be part of the Caring Hearts team to assist. Any support is appreciated!
If you are a CSLN member and are in need of assistance or know of someone else from our community that needs help or has something to celebrate, please reach out to Erica Leeds at erica.l.leeds@gmail.com. If you are referring to someone else, please confirm with them that they need help before referral.
Thank you for embodying the spirit of care and compassion in our community. Together, we make a difference!

BOOKSTORE BUZZ
The bookstore has ordered the Self-Mastery Class’s books, but they have been slow coming in. Please check with me to see if they have come in. We only ordered five books because there were only five people enrolled at the time, so you may need to find another source, but check first.
We ordered a new prosperity book: The Abundance Book by John Randolph Price. This little book has a wealth of advice on prosperity. It’s small enough to carry in a pocket or purse. This book is priced at $6.00 per copy.
We also received an order of This Thing Called You, by Ernest Holmes. This little book is one of the most requested books written by our founder. It’s a small book, and easy to read. If you are new to Science of Mind, it’s a great introduction to our beliefs. And for veteran members, it’s a good review. This book is priced at $15.00.
Also, don’t forget that we still have a supply of Candy Paul’s books, both the Art of books (only $5.00) and the 101 Ways books ($2.50 per book). They make great presents!
If you need any other literature, including the Science of Mind textbook and Living the Science of Mind, come see me. I am in the bookstore after the service every Sunday. The bookstore is located to the right of the lobby, in the same space as the classroom, but on the left side of the room.
We also have a small lending library in the Meditation Room. If you want to browse that, it is open before Meditation and after the service, and if you want to donate to it, please let me know. Our space is limited, but we appreciate all donations.

SPIRITUAL MIND TREATMENT
Tonya Miller-Hire, RScP
There is One Infinite Presence, a Divine Intelligence—Love itself—that moves through all of existence. This Presence is Love, Wisdom, and Infinite Creativity, expressing through and as all of life. I am one with this Divine Presence. I am not separate from the Whole but an integral thread in the sacred weave of Life, of Love. As I breathe, speak, and act, I do so in harmony with all beings. I affirm that Love is at work here and now, guiding me and all humanity toward greater unity, wisdom, and transformation. I embrace my sacred role in this moment, knowing that my thoughts, words, and actions contribute to the evolution of consciousness. I am inspired by those who have walked before me, and I step boldly into my part of the “Love Work,” knowing that I am supported by the Divine in all I do. With deep gratitude, I celebrate this truth. I give thanks for the ever-present Love that moves through all things. I give thanks for this sacred connection and release this truth, knowing it is done. I trust, I surrender, and I let it be. And so it is.
