The Trump assassination attempt could have been foretold by a competent astrologer. And, an Electional Astrologer (a professional who picks favorable dates) would not have liked the timing of the Democratic Convention. This upcoming convention promises to be riddled with conflict and controversy. In times past royalty consulted astronomer/astrologers to inform their plans and thus help assure events would be executed at favorable times. Despite the fact that such a practice would likely be ridiculed (Nancy Reagan had an astrologer consultant and was unmercifully ridiculed for this) it makes one wonder why the practice is not

used today.

The celestial bodies in our solar system are in constant motion. They create intricate interactions that influence both the cosmos and our lives. That the Moon goes through phases in relation to the Sun is commonly familiar to us. The remaining eight planets also engage in dynamic relationships with each other and these are marked by significant alignments and relationships that are also referred to as phases just like

Key Astrological Aspects and Phases on July 13, 2023 (the date of the Assassination Attempt)

On July 13, 2024 Mars, the warrior planet, was in a squared (challenging) phase with Uranus, the planet of surprises. To make matters worse Uranus in Taurus was in close proximity to Algol, the Demon Fixed Star of

violence. The energetic disruptive square between Mars and Uranus, with Uranus near Algol, assured the predictability of potential violence. In addition, the Sun, (power), opposed (a challenging phase) Pluto (life &

death, and power). This opposition signified power struggles and intense confrontations. Algol’s influence on the day contributed to the intensity and danger. At the very least prior knowledge of this energetic configuration could have influenced planners to have chosen an indoor venue where the environment could have been better controlled.

A square aspect between Jupiter and Saturn will occur from August 18 – December 24. It is particularly noteworthy, as it heralds profound shifts and challenges. Jupiter and Saturn are two of the most significant

planets in astrology, often referred to as the "Great Benefic" and the "Great Malefic", respectively. Jupiter is associated with growth, expansion, and optimism, while Saturn represents structure, limitation, and discipline. When these two giants form a square aspect, it creates a powerful dynamic that can lead to substantial societal and personal developments.

The Dem Convention and a 90 Degree Square Phase between Jupiter and Saturn

Jupiter and Saturn are about to experience a 90-degree angle that occurs as they have over the past years moved away from their last major phase: the conjunction. The conjunction occurred in December of 2020. The conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn, known as the Great Conjunction, happens approximately every 20 years. It is associated with significant shifts in societal structures and ideologies. (FYI: December 2020 was the time of the pandemic.)

The time right before the square (i.e. the planned dates of the Democratic Convention) can be particularly intense. Astrology tells us we can expect to see tension and conflict. The square aspect brings friction, highlighting areas where growth (Jupiter) meets resistance (Saturn). It can manifest as societal unrest, economic challenges, or conflicts between progress and tradition. This, I am quite sure, is not the mood convention planners are hoping to inspire.

The squared Jupiter, (expansion), and Saturn (contraction) will be dancing through your life and livelihood for the remaining 4.5 months of this year. This is not a one size fits all dynamic. It is a big deal heavenly event and it will have an individual impact on you.
