The Astrology: An Abundance of Earth Sign Energy (Earth signs relate to practical “things” you can touch, see, and feel.)
On 9/1/2024 retrograding Pluto (the planet of life, death, power and transformation) after having already moved on to Aquarius because it is currently traveling backwards re-enters the Earth Sign Capricorn. This short Capricorn stay will be for the last time in Capricorn for over 240 years. Pluto began its transformative journey through Capricorn, the sign that impacts business, governments, and money in the financially crisis ridden year of 2008. Now, currently, it will remain in Capricorn only until late November 2024. By December it will have solidly moved back into Aquarius (invention and change) where it will stay for 40 years. A pressing
collective question (which, as I wrote about last week, is beyond my pay grade to determine) is: What does transformative energy have in store for us during this election season?
Additionally, on 9/1/2024 Uranus, the erratic ruler of Aquarius (revolutionary ideas), will “station” and turn retrograde. Uranus is currently in the conservative fixed Earth Sign of Taurus. This sign is one of two signs that rule money. Uranus is edgy, and, however, Taurus tends to slow it down. Then, to top it all off, when a planet “stations” its energy is tampered down. This diverse combination of energies could be a meaningful catalyst for out of the box thinking that despite being quirky is still in the bounds of having practical and useful benefits.
To complete the triplicity of practical influences 9/2/2024 there is a New Moon in the Earth Sign of Virgo, the sign that grounds us in thinking practically about the vast and confusing topic of our health and well-being.
The Cosmic Mojo Joke: Beware of the Easily Overlooked Irony
The above cataloguing of events reveals that all three Earth signs (Capricorn, Taurus and Virgo) are significantly mobilized during this two-day Labor Day timeframe. The Cosmic Joke relates to the fact that the composite earthy configurations involve a New Moon rather than a Full Moon. New Moons are experienced in darkness. There is nothing tangible to feel, touch or see. Thus, if we are to gain the benefit of this earthly Cosmic Grand Slam it will need come from in-sight. This makes this power packed time meta-physical. If you are open to the idea that you have access to an inner vision you will be much more likely to benefit from the
