The creations and destruction of sand paintings is an ancient practice used in Buddhist traditions to teach

people to accept and embrace the Universal Truth that: Nothing Lasts Forever.

In this picture we see a monk starting to use a brush to wipe out and, thus, destroy a sand painting. Tibetan Buddhist monks engage in the painstaking creation of sand paintings. The above beautiful painting was executed by many monks. It took them weeks to finish it. Then, based upon the intent of the spiritual practice, when complete, to the shock and awe of onlookers. the beautiful work is swept away. This spiritual practice is designed to be a reminder, and demonstration of the efficacy and wisdom inherent in a Buddhist belief that: Everything is impermanent -- Nothing lasts forever.

Pluto is, in the astrological profile of reality, the planet of life, death and transformation. It is the heavenly messenger of the reality: Nothing Lasts Forever. The following information about its influences on our lives is a testament to the fact that Pluto fulfills on delivering what it is called to do.

In ten short weeks on 11/19/24 Pluto, will move into the sun sign of Aquarius, the sign that rules radical change. You don’t need to be an astrologer to understand that when cosmic transformation meets energies related to radical change that a whole lot of change and changeability is going to be coming our way.

Cope and Flourish: Know the Present and Past, and Plan for the Future

On September 1, 2024 Pluto retrograded back into Capricorn where is has been, with the exception of a recent short stay in Aquarius, since 2008. Back in 2008 when Pluto, first entered Capricorn, the sign that rules big business, government and money financial transformations became a significant cosmic focus to be reckoned with by everyone worldwide. 2008 was a year of financial crisis. Since then there have been many changes in

big business and in the government’s relationship to the economy & money. A few that come to mind include the Covid and big pharma crisis, supply chain issues, interest rate hikes, and the dawning of crypto currency. 2008 was also the year during which the corrupt financier, Bernie Maddoff, turned himself into government officials. Since 2008 much corruption has been exposed, examples include: stimulus check fraud, the crypto FTX debacle, big pharma and the controversy surrounding vaccines. Pluto, as a force of transformation, that causes in its wake the revelation of corruption has clearly been performing reliably true to it intended form.

Currently we have 10 weeks (2.5 months) for Pluto to finish what it has been about since 2008. By that time it will have left a permanent stamp on the global impact it was about creating under the sign of Capricorn. Once in radical change Aquarius it will stay in that sign for 40 years. Clearly, with 40 years to accomplish its transformative mission we can be assured the earth is on the precipice of a big changes.

To further explain my reference to Pluto “leaving its mark it may be easier to understand the practical impact in a case where there has been time for history to grant us perspective. It may enlightening to understand how Pluto in Sagittarius, the fire sign just before Capricorn, (1995 – 2008) impacted global events. Sagittarius rules religion. When Pluto was in Sagittarius the corruption of the Catholic priests was exposed. The church was forever changed. Pluto left its indelible mark. There is no option of going back.

There is an added intensity of the current high level of influence of Pluto for Americans. Pluto 246 -248 years to orbit the Sun. In 1776 at the time of the signing of the US Declaration of Independence Pluto was also in the sign of Capricorn. In 2022 Pluto returned to the same longitude in Capricorn as it was in during the time of the

birth of the US. This “Pluto Return” was a cosmic big deal. It started a whole new chapter in the course of the history of big business, government and money in the US.

Pluto in the Short Term: The US Election

For citizens of the US the upcoming outstanding government related event is the US election. Particular favored candidates will win or lose. Election time will be stressful for many. The campaigns are already replete with both sides promising disaster, gloom and doom if the opposing side wins will. The political climate most likely will become even more conflictual. You may wish to choose to embrace a cosmic perspective to help you navigate the related turbulence. Strengthen your coping capacity by adopting the perspective that “Nothing lasts forever.” There is nothing to lose from trying for yourself to see if this perspective aids you in finding comfort. What Lies Ahead in the Long Term

At the end of November Pluto will leave Capricorn and thereafter be in Aquarius, the sign that is known to trigger radical change. Pluto in Aquarius brings to mind the vision of robotics, self-driving vehicles, crypto, AI and the promise many more inventions that are yet to be imagined and developed. The changes Pluto has delivered to business in the past 16 years will carry forward. We clearly want to be preparing to go with the flow of rapid change. Radical CHANGE and profound TRANSFORMATION lie ahead.
