It's 1099 Time!

Before we proceed with preparing and filing your 1099 forms, I want to confirm our pricing and outline the information needed.

1099 Preparation Fees:

• $75 for the first 1099
• $25 for each additional 1099

Information Needed for Each 1099 Recipient:

• Legal name (individual or business)
• Mailing address
• Social Security Number (SSN) or Employer Identification Number (EIN)
• Total amount paid during the year
• Type of payment (e.g., nonemployee compensation)
• Completed and signed Form W-9 (if not already provided)

Important 1099 Guidelines

• We do not issue 1099s for vendors paid via credit card. This includes electronic payments processed through third-party platforms tied to credit cards.
• Form 1099-NEC is required for check or cash payments (including Zelle) totaling $600 or more for:
• Services rendered
• Commissions
• Legal fees
• These apply to individuals and LLCs that are not taxed as S-Corporations or C-Corporations.
• If a business name ends in Inc. or Corp., or the W-9 indicates S-Corp or C-Corp status, a 1099 is not required.
• Form 1099-MISC is required for check or cash payments (including Zelle) of $600 or more for rent.
• A 1099-MISC must be issued for rent payments regardless of whether the recipient is a corporation.
• 1099-K Reporting (Venmo & PayPal)
• A 1099-K is issued by the payment processor when both of the following thresholds are met:
• Over $20,000 in gross payments for goods and services during the calendar year, and
• More than 200 separate transactions
• If these thresholds are not met, no 1099-NEC is required for Venmo or PayPal business payments.

Once we receive the required information, written authorization, and signed credit card authorization, we will proceed with preparing and filing the 1099s.

Please confirm in writing that you accept the pricing outlined above and return the signed credit card authorization so we can move forward.

2026 Begins with a Bit of Cosmic Confusion and COMFORT

Let’s Start by Accentuating the Positive: Cosmic COMFORT

Currently an opposition between expansive Jupiter and a powerful conjunction of Mars, the Sun, and Venus is

likely to be stirring feelings of uncertainty, mixed signals, or mental overload. Jupiter stretches perspectives while the inner personal planets intensify emotions, desires, and actions.
