The Recent History of Capricorn Influencing the US Economy Background -- Cosmic information: In the US Astrology Chart created for the time when the US was born Pluto resides in the 2 nd House of Money in the Sign of Capricorn. The entry of Pluto into Capricorn in 2008 marked a significant astrological time coinciding with a turbulent period in the global financial landscape. The following are some key events and trends in the financial world that occurred between 2008 and the present time. Global Financial Crisis (2007-2008): Just before Pluto entered Capricorn, the world experienced a severe financial crisis triggered by the collapse of the subprime mortgage market in the United States. Government Bailouts and Stimulus Packages: In response to the financial crisis, governments around the world implemented massive bailouts. Regulatory Reforms: The financial crisis prompted calls for stricter regulations to prevent similar events in the future.
