-What makes a transaction taxable?

-What makes a transaction tax-exempt?

-Delivery charges, credit card fees, taxable and non-taxable labor

-Filing Requirements

-Penalties

-Tax Rates

-What records should be maintained?

-Demonstration of how to use MyAlabamaTaxes, to file state and local returns.

-State/County Business Licenses

-Tax Amnesty

This workshop will be a GREAT educational opportunity for Business Owners and individuals in the North Baldwin area.

North Baldwin First Responder Appreciation Dinner

North Baldwin First Responder Appreciation Dinner!

The North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce hosted the North Baldwin First Responder Appreciation Dinner on September 21st, 2023, with the invaluable support of the previous host the North Baldwin Friends of First Responders.

Thanks to the unwavering support of the Friends of First Responders, sponsors, and dedicated volunteers, the Chamber was able to organize this wonderful event for all of our First Responders who sacrificed so much to help keep our community safe.

This wonderful event took place at the John F. Rhodes Civic Center with an awesome meal provided by Mudbug Mafia! An array of delicious desserts was also served thanks to the help of Martha Ryan and her dessert committee! It was truly all amazing and we are so thankful for all of our volunteers who helped last night!

The Chamber would also like to thank our local schools who made cards, thanking our First Responders for all they do! Also to our speakers Kenny Breal from North Baldwin Infirmary, Carol Messer from the North Baldwin Friends of First Responders, Sgt. Gates from Bay Minette Police Department for leading the prayer, and Deputy Tyler Ludke from the Baldwin County Sheriffs Office for signing the National Anthem!

To our North Baldwin First Responders. the North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce and the North Baldwin Friends of First Responders extend our deepest appreciation for your tireless and selfless work on our behalf. Your unwavering service and sacrifice are what keep our community safe and secure.
