Our Members are hiring! Who do you know that would be a great fit?

Money Matters Tax and Financial Services is hiring for three seasonal positions for the upcoming tax filing season. All three positions would start in January and run through the middle of April:


Front Desk Person:

Duties include (but aren’t limited to) answering phones, scheduling appointments, receiving client paperwork, taking payment for client returns, covering incoming emails, etc. The right person for this job would have a very positive, upbeat disposition, possess great customer service skills, and be able to work in a sometimes fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills are required, we will train on our software systems. 20-40 hours per week, $18+/hour, depending on experience.


Administrative Assistant:

Duties include (but aren’t limited to) scanning client information into software systems, organizing client paperwork for preparers, processing paper returns to be filed, creating packets for clients picking up returns, filing completed returns in physical and digital cabinets, etc. The right person would be incredibly organized and detail-oriented, able to stand and work for extended periods of time, able to lift 40 lb. boxes of paper, and able to quickly learn and use multiple software systems. 20-40 hours per week, $18+/hour, depending on experience.


Tax Preparer:

Duties would include the preparation of client 1040 tax returns, and if experienced 1120S and 1065 business returns. This position could be done remotely or on-site, at least 2 years experience and PTIN required, and also requires a background check. 20-40 hours per week, $23+/hour depending on experience.
