Jake's Del Mar's Fun Run
Raises $8,000 for La Colonia
|
Year after year, Jake's Del Mar shows their commitment to our community and our kids by designating our La Colonia Clubhouse as one of their beneficiaries for their annual 5K. This year resulted in a $8,000 donation. Thank you so much for your unwavering support!

Team Building for Success
|
Our annual all staff meeting even had our CEO up on her feet participating in team-building exercises to strengthen our skills as mentors and leaders for our community's youth. We welcomed presentations by Shalon Nienow MD, FAAP, our BGC Board Member on the topic of Mandatory Reporting and Stressors, as well as Ziksana Consulting who presented on Appreciative Listening.

Thank You Sahm Family Foundation
|
The Sahm Family Foundation awarded BGC San Dieguito a $30,000 grant for our financial assistance program. Because of their support, we were able to extend financial assistance to over 250 children and teens earlier this year to take part in programs throughout our seven Clubhouses.

Take on the world of STEAM with LabRats! Young Explorers program consists of courses for grades (K-4th) and the Explorers program for grades (5th-8th), featuring similar courses like robotics, coding, biology, engineering, & more!

Brighten The Holidays For a Less Fortunate Child or Teen
We have several Club Kids and Teens that attend our Solana Beach and Encinitas Clubhouses who are in need of a helping hand over the holidays. Wrap a gift for a child or participate in our teen gift card drive.
