Happy Halloween! Welcome to another edition of the Manzos newsletter. We here have been busy getting ready for haloween on of the busiest delivery nights of the year. And to help you get ready we've dug up some great tips for a safe and fun Halloween.

Halloween Safety
Great Tips to Insure You're Halloween is Fun and Safe
* Purchase candy that is well wrapped.
* Decorate to the max, but consider the safety of little ones who come to the door. Keep the stairs and pathways clear and avoid too many electrical wires.
* Be sure the light bulb on the front porch or stairs is in working order.
* Be sure all pets that could scare trick or treaters (or be scared by trick or treaters) are secured in a room away from the door.
* Always provide responsible adult supervision to young children.
* Bring flashlights!
* Remind young children to stay together with the group. You may have to say this several times throughout the evening.
* Go over the route you expect to take trick or treating. Remind children of proper pedestrian safety.
* Trick or treat on well-lit streets and go only to houses that have a light on.
* Remind children never to enter a stranger's home.* If you allow older children to go without an adult, be sure they are in a large group and stay on well-lit streets.
* Although they may protest, be sure your teen takes a flashlight. Flashlights allow trick or treaters to see and be seen
* Send older children with a cell phone and designate times that they should check in by calling you. Remind them that they can call 911 if they feel they are in danger.
* Be sure everyone understands the expected time to return home.
