California Business Comeback Guide
The Governor's Office of Business and Economic Development created a wonderful resource for businesses, the California Business Comeback Guide, which is an index of all current and forecasted state incentive programs for businesses both for recovery and for success.

The Camarillo Library features many great resources for business owners and professionals. We encourage you to explore the offerings provided by the Russell Fischer Business Collection for professional development and business growth!

COVID-19 Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program
The low-interest and long-term COVID EIDL program has helped millions of small business owners survive the impacts of the pandemic with its flexibility and affordability – allowing entrepreneurs to hire and retain employees, and purchase needed equipment and inventory.

California Competes Tax Credit & Grant Program
The California Competes Tax Credit (CCTC) and Grant Program (CCGP) are available to businesses that want to locate in California or stay and grow in California.

Businesses of any industry, size, or location compete for over $180 million available in tax credits by applying in one of the three application periods each year.
 
Application Period Timeline: For the remainder of the fiscal year 2021-2022, GO-Biz will accept applications for the California Competes Tax Credit during the following periods:
 
January 3, 2022 – January 24, 2022
March 7, 2022 – March 28, 2022

Emergency Broadband Benefit
Eligible households that apply by December 31 can get up to $50 off monthly internet service with the Emergency Broadband Benefit through the Federal Communications Commission, and may also qualify for a discount of up to $100 for the purchase of a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet from participating providers.
 
Recipients of CalFresh, Medi-Cal, or certain other public benefits may show proof of their program participation to qualify.
