Bill Fountain
Came to his first meeting in November where he told us he comes from Farmingdale and Ollie recruited him into joining JSRC. fill is looking for exercise to help build up his body and endurance. Welcome!

Please join us in welcoming Bill and meet our other new members:

Scott Kemly
I love to run. I run from my home in Allenhurst around Deal Lake then on to the boardwalk then into Belmar. My daily run is around 7 miles.
I love the way I feel and how it has kept me in shape. I normally run on my lunch break all year round unless it snows.
I go to some of the JSRC races such as the Run-A-Palooza and run the Spring Lake 5.
My farthest run is a half-marathon. My daily pace is a eight-minute mile. My race pace is a seven-minute mile.
I work for a vision systems company as an application engineer. My largest everyday customer is Amazon. I travel all over the US and I always run in those areas and find new people to run with. My wife is also a runner and we do run a lot together. Hope to meet everyone soon.
Noelle Carino
I am a competitive person, and yet no matter how many times I have tried to start to run over the years, I have been unsuccessful. One day, about three weeks ago, I tried again, and lo and behold! I loved it! I do not go far - just a couple of miles typically around my neighborhood which is in downtown Toms River - but it's quickly becoming a vital part of my day.
I prefer a shorter run (2-4 miles) at this stage. This is the right amount of time for me to disconnect and re-center myself for my family, my work, and my mission.
I recently started a new career path in ed tech with a startup out of San Mateo, CA called Swing Education. My role is to foster and nurture school partnerships on the East Coast, so I spend a good deal of time on the phone, in the car, and in meetings. One of my mission pillars is education, so having the privilege of working in that space has been very rewarding.
Additionally, I spend my time volunteering with various organizations, worshipping at my church, and most importantly, with my family.
In April, I am doing a Marathon Relay which is a first for me. My goal is to develop my new-found love of running and to share that with my family and friends.
Brad Del Verde
I run to be healthy, stay fit and reduce stress. I was a runner for many years but took off about 15 years until starting again this April.
In February of 2017, I was 260 pounds and really unhealthy. I decided to make a change for myself and my family and, as of this writing, I have lost 76 pounds! I've run about fifteen 5K's this year and still have three more to go before year end.
I enjoy 5K's but will be extending my distances as I am training for the NJ Half Marathon in April 2019. I usually run outside in all weather as I hate gyms.

I enjoy running the Grand Tour Trail at Hartshorne Park and the bowl at Holmdel Park as well.
My 5K PR is a modest 23:16. I hope to improve on next year as I continue to get my legs back.
I work in the IT industry as a Strategic Account Manager for All Covered. I've been in the IT industry for 24 years.
I enjoy cross training by bicycling. I ride the Hudson Trail all the way out to the end of Sandy Hook a lot in the warmer weather. I rode in the Twin Lights ride this September (55-mile course). I am doing the TD Bank 5 Boro Ride next May which covers 40 miles. I love playing golf, so any golfers out there? I always have my clubs and shoes in the trunk and a flexible work schedule.
I have two step-daughters and one daughter. They are 21, 19 and 12, the stress I mentioned earlier lol.
My oldest is about to graduate Montclair State University for fashion design. My middle daughter attends Brookdale Community College for education; my youngest daughter goes to Thorne Middle School in Middletown and wants to be the next J.K. Rowling.
I have a wonderful fiancée who puts up with all my early morning weekend races and serving as my "official photographer".
I look forward to meeting more of the members at future events.
