Pool noodle or closet pole
Bubble wrap or pool cover
Mesh

Use this as a covering
to your fibers in the wet felting process as a barrier between
your hands and the wool. This will keep your fibers in place while
allowing you to wet,
soap and agitate your fibers for felting.
One of these will almost cover a standard 6ft table, or get two to
cover the top and bottom
of a piece that that is as long and wide as your table.

not only acts as a barrier to keep the wool from sticking to
your wet hands, but it can also be used to help fold your wool evenly
and snugly back onto your project for a nice, straight edge.
