SCCF's FIST (Forever Improving Steuben Together) youth philanthropy navigators consisting of SCCF Staff members, Angola High School, Hamilton Jr./ Sr. High School, and Fremont Community Schools high school teachers spent a few days this fall in Atlanta, Georgia at Dekko Foundation's Youth Navigator Retreat. Attendees learned about connecting with and guiding today's youth from Growing Leaders, a non-profit leadership training and development company, and came back energized and ready to apply all they learned to FIST students and their classrooms. Teachers also received continuing education credits by participating in the retreat.

Steuben County Community Foundation is grateful to Hamilton Jr./ Sr. High School, Metropolitan School District of Steuben County, and Fremont Community Schools for their continued support of the FIST youth philanthropy program and to the Dekko Foundation for being such a wonderful host! Learn more about FIST on our website at steubenfoundation.org/youth-philanthropy/.
