Power Cost Adjustment
Beginning January 1, 2019, the PCA factor will increase, adding approximately $3.41 to a 1,000 kilowatt hour (kWh) bill. The PCA rises and falls to pass through to all REC members the cost of generating and transmitting electricity. Learn more >>

Local charities and non-profit organizations were recently  awarded funding totaling $29,050 as a result of member contributions to The Power of Change.

Crews Focus on Reliability
REC recently identified a two-mile section of Route 11 in Middletown as a High-Reliability Zone (HRZ). Protecting that main circuit significantly reduces outages farther down the lines. Read more>>
