Giving Tuesday!

This year for Giving Tuesday, as a community, we were able to complete over 170,000 movements. Each of those movements provides FTR with 10 cents to support our mission and help us spread the message and continue growing. Thank you to everyone who donated, and everyone that showed up last week to support through movement. We are forever grateful for everyone that is a part of this community.

Our Giving Tuesday fundraiser is open until December 31st, so click the link below if you'd like to be a part of helping us grow in 2022.

Dream Chasers Premiere

Member Spotlight!

Our member spotlight for the month of December is Linda Oldham. Linda brings the heat, shows up consistently, and always brings a positive attitude. Linda shows the newcomer that no matter where you're at, you can bring a smile and a whole lot of effort. We're so proud to call you a community member, Linda, and we love you!

FITNESS PILLAR

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day Schedule Just a reminder, on Christmas Day we will hold no classes. Stay home, enjoy the time with your family, practice self-love and reach out to a friend. We will be posting a more detailed holiday schedule as we approach the holiday week.

NUTRITION PILLAR

Individual Nutrition Coaching!

Did you know that our Nutrition Pillar Lead and Registered Dietician offers individual nutrition coaching? He can help you learn how to use nutrition to support your recovery, improve your relationship with food, learn how to use food as fuel for activity and improve your overall health. CREATIVE EXPRESSION PILLAR

Song Writing Groups are Back! Each Friday, after we hold one of our Creative Arts classes at 6:30, stick around and create some music with us. What better way to spend your Friday than connecting in a safe space with other creative people. Friday Dec. 10th: Hip-Hop dance w/ Kate @ 6:30pm Friday Dec. 17th: Acrylic Painting w/ John @ 6:30pm Every Friday: Song-Writing w/ Tony @ 7:30pm

COMMUNITY SERVICE PILLAR

Christmas Day Outreach! This year on Christmas, we are doing a homeless outreach to help our friends in need out in the community. We have a box set up in the lobby at FTR to collect clothing donations and we will be creating care packages for those in need. The outreach will be held on Christmas Day, and more details will be available on our Facebook page as we get closer to the event. Reach out to Maara at (385) 267-2050 with any questions, and feel free to bring any donations you have to the gym. We Love You!

Thank you to the Kroger and Smith's Grocery!

This month, we would like to thank both Kroger and Smith's Grocery for their continued support of Fit To Recover's Food To Recover Program. The Food To Recover program helps people recognize the importance of proper nutrition during recovery and in their daily lives and to maintain a healthy relationship with food. Support from Kroger and Smith's Grocery will help the Food To Recover program reach its 2022 goal of serving over 6,000 meals to individuals in early recovery.
