Happy Holidays everyone!

It's been quite the ride since our last newsletter of March 16th. Let's see; there was spring, summer, fall and that Covid thing decided to hang around all year. We would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the friends and family of our extended Whisky Kitchen family that have lost anyone or suffered hardship due to Covid. 
During the shutdown we rolled up our sleeves and went to work doing lots of maintenance and rebuilding our kitchen, complete with a new kitchen floor and we refinished our bar top. Since re-opening we have done everything in our power to make everyone safe in our little whisky joint. Along with our Covid safety protocols we have removed 8 tables, installed glass panel doors and rebuilt reclaimed windows that now sit between the tables and guests. Our goal was to give all of our guests comfort in knowing that we care and that they will be safe dining with us in doing so we gave the restaurant a new cozier feel. If you haven't dropped by in for a while please come and check out what we are doing to keep everyone safe. The patio is still open, heated and breezy. Please remember that masks are mandatory at the Whisky Kitchen upon entering and when not seated.

Due to the public health orders, we are only serving whisky and other libations from 11am to 10pm daily. We are however, still open daily at 10am and our kitchen closes at 11pm Friday and Saturday evenings. We have a new Happy Hour menu too.
As we enter into the winter holiday season it is time for our annual winter whisky release, we have just released over 100 new whiskies! In addition, we are now selling whiskies by the bottle!

As all bottles sales must accompany a takeaway food purchase, you can order a meal to go or opt in for our "Whisky Provisions"; a jar of our chicken liver mousse and a jar of our Whisky Pickles for only $15, Don't forget to grab a couple gift cards too. 
Our food and drink menu is available on line but the whisky menu is just too big to post as we have well over 1,000 on the shelves.
For those of you following the Great Canadian Whisky Raid of 2018: our hearing date of April 7th was cancelled, no surprise there, and we are still trying to get a new date with the earliest maybe sometime in February 2021. This means that by the time this gets in front of a judge it will have been over 3 years since the government raided The Whisky Kitchen, unlawfully seizing 242 bottles of some of the rarest whisky on earth.
Let's continue to be safe, be smart and take care of our friends, families and loved ones. Keep an eye on your neighbours, help out where you can and together, we will get through this.
