Boston Harbor Wharf Wood

      Almost two years ago, a prominent architect found us online while he was looking for LOCALLY SOURCED reclaimed wood. 

      His clients, Price Waterhouse Cooper, and Skanksa were building 101 Seaport Blvd in Boston. They wanted to utilize a locally sourced, reclaimed wood product throughout the building. It took a lot of work during the past two years, but here it is recently installed in the lobby.

      Our Boston Harbor Wharf Wood was the unanimous choice of everyone involved due to its beauty, and its intriguing recycled story.

Our company prides itself on working to help preserve our environment.

The recent global meetings on climate change  in Paris, France  emphasized the importance of preserving and maintaining our forests as one of the most important steps in reducing the effects of our pollution.

Every tim ber or plank that we save is a tree that can absorb carbon.
Every tractor trailer load is 30-40 trees.
Every hundred tractor trailer loads is 3-4000 trees  that can live for hundreds of years. 

Some say the cost  of using reclaimed lumber is expensive because it is so labor intensive, 
but the cost of not using it and stripping our forests is, in the long run going to cost us a lot more.

Working together we can make a difference!

It may be a very modest beginning,  but remember that the mighty oak was once a little nut.
