Happy Holidays and welcome to our last Newsletter of 2019!

2019 has been a busy year for the firm and we have once again added to our team with Attorney Steven L. Weiss joining the firm in late fall. Mr. Weiss adds decades of experience to our Calabasas office and is also a Certified Family Law Specialist, certified by the State Bar of California. Learn more about Mr. Weiss here or scroll below.

In the past few months, we have supported over 10 community events and organizations including Bridge to Home, the Santa Clarita Food Pantry, the Child and Family Center, Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission, Haven Hills Domestic Violence Center, as well as the San Fernando Valley Bar Association and the Santa Clarita Valley Bar Association. We are beyond appreciative for your support as we continue to serve vulnerable populations in our communities.

Attorney Steven L. Weiss Joins The Reape-Rickett Law Firm

T he Reape-Rickett Law Firm is excited to announce Steven L. Weiss, Esq. has joined the firm as a valued member of our Calabasas office. Mr. Weiss has over thirty-seven years of experience, and received his Certification as a Family Law Specialist from the State Bar of California Board of Specialization in 1994. In addition to representing his clients’ best interests in the courtroom, Mr. Weiss regularly engaged in alternative dispute resolution methods and private judging.

SFVBA Installation Gala

In October, the firm proudly supported Shareholder Matthew Breddan, Esq. as the San Fernando Valley Bar Association's newest Treasurer! This event marked Mr. Breddan's third stewardship as a Board Member of the SFVBA.

Soup for the Soul Fundraiser

During the month of November we sponsored the annual bridge to Home Soup for the Soul fundraiser. We are proud to once again partner with Santa Clarita's largest homeless shelter as they transition to a year-round shelter!

Thanksgiving Food Drive

Last month we hosted a Thanksgiving Donation Drive benefitting the Santa Clarita Valley Food Panty and their clients. We greatly appreciate all who participated and are thrilled to report we were able to collect a full barrel of food and critically needed supplies in time for Thanksgiving!

The Holiday Spirit

We are excited to continue supporting the Child and Family Center in Santa Clarita by adopting a family in need this holiday season. This year we played Secret Santa for a mother and her two children and a few members of our Valencia team were happy to Vanna White the gifts.
