As the executive director of YMCA Camp Chingachgook, I am filled with joy and gratitude as we reflect on the incredible year we've had together. 2023 brought us unforgettable moments, new friendships, and countless adventures that have left a lasting impact on each and every one of us.

From the crackling campfires under starlit skies to the cheers of triumph during canoe races, this year was truly special. It was heartwarming to witness the growth, camaraderie, and sheer enthusiasm displayed by our campers and staff alike. Your unwavering support and dedication have been instrumental in making Chingachgook a haven for fun, learning, and personal development.

As we enter the holiday season, I want to extend my warmest wishes to everyone in our camp community. May your homes be filled with laughter, your hearts with love, and your spirits with the magic of the season. Reflecting on the memories we've created, I am reminded of the unique bond that ties us all together—a bond forged through shared experiences, challenges conquered, and the simple joys of camp life.

Looking ahead to 2024, I am confident that the spirit of Chingachgook will continue to thrive. We look forward to welcoming two new full-time staff members (who we will introduce in February!) and kicking off another year full of outdoor education, family programs, retreats, weddings, special events, adaptive sailing, summer camp & more!
