On the branches of a small tree along the hiking trail hang a dozen ornaments—shiny red, glittering gold, bright purple, and one in the shape of a black-and-white spotted cat. They’ve been left by neighbors who, like me, walk or run this trail every day. It is our neighborhood tree. And every time I see it, I’m filled with two words that will forever define the season for me: Comfort & Joy.
And that’s my wish for you—wherever you are and whatever you celebrate. To help put you in that holiday frame of mind, please visit FaithHopeandFiction.com, where you’ll find stories, essays, and poems to entertain, inspire, and delight. The latest include: “The Good Prosecutor” by Joe Roubicek, “A Christmas to Remember” by Jamie Nicolelli, and my holiday short story, “Leaving for Christmas.”
And please check out the latest in my Ohnita Harbor Mystery Series – including my new book, The Secrets of Still Waters Chasm, available on Amazon, at Barnes & Noble and from your favorite independent bookstore.
