As we look back on the past month, we want to recognize the many generous people who have helped us.

Year End Giving


Feed the Need of Putnam County continues to be blessed each year to be able to feed 800 kids each weekend. If you are considering giving to a charitable organization at year’s end or for the 2022 up coming year, FTNPC needs your support.  Please visit our website and Facebook page to see how your dollars are being used her in Putnam County feeding food insecure children.

Feed the Need would like to give a sincere thank you to the Giving Tuesday 2022 Donors! What an incredible day! Thank you to our community of dedicated community of supporters who came together to rally for local food insecure children! We are so grateful to those who made a gift for students of Putnam County!

St. Johns River Water Management



Feed the Need gives a big THANK YOU to St. Johns River Water Management employees for their donation to FTN! Teams of employees entered their carved pumpkins into a pumpkin carving contest and collected food for donation to local food-insecure people. Check out these pictures to see how creative they were this year! Thank you Kristi Willoughby, Carrie Cordell, and Melinda Willens! Over 581 items were collected! Thank you to EVERYONE that participated!

The Eleventh District Masonic Lodge Association



Board Member, Julia Warwick and FTN Community Liaison, Stacey Eisold had the opportunity to visit The Eleventh District Masonic Lodge to share with them what Feed the Need does for our community. They gifted Feed the Need with a donation to support our local Putnam County Students. Thank you for your invitation to allow us to share about our organization and for your support!! Feed the Need's City of Palatka Christmas Parade Float


FTN was exited and proud to participate in the 2022 Christmas Parade!! This was the first time we have entered and Palatka Daily News named the FTN float "JUDGES CHOICE!! Thank you PDN, a lot of hard work and love went into the making of the float and we were grateful to participate! Click on the video to watch!

The Episcopal Relief and Development Organization donated to Feed the Need of Putnam County through St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Federal Point, Florida. Rhonda Williams filed a request on behalf of food insecure students in Putnam County to receive these funds of $1000.00!

Thank you for reaching out and supporting Feed the Need’s mission of feeding students!

Seminole Electric Corporation Employee Giving Drive 2022


Thank you, Seminole Electric Corporation Employees, for your donations of funds and food and school supplies during the 2022 Drive!! Also, Seminole Electric Corporation did an employee match and CoBank of Tampa did a Seminole Electric match!! Thank you so much to all!! We can’t feed children without people and organizations like you!

Feed the Need's Partnership with Interlachen High School and Chef Tyson


FTN and Chef Tyson at Interlachen High School have teamed up, not only to feed students over the weekend, but to provide food to under resourced community members at an Interlachen church! Chef Tyson teaches his students to prepare and cook the food and they get to serve at the church on Wednesdays!
