Happy Holidays

"Every kid is one caring adult away from being a success story . . ." - Josh Shipp

As we reach the end of 2023, will you join all the caring, loving adults who have stepped up to make a difference in the lives of children, families and seniors in our area this year?

Those who are impacted by poverty have so many different stories:

*Meet Milton. The 16 year old who is the sole breadwinner in his household. He came to the Holiday Shop with his mother and

14-year-old sister. Momma is in a wheelchair, on dialysis, and has other medical needs. Milton is a responsible young man, and already taking care of his family. He made sure his family was able to make it to Shop to get some things they need. What a GREAT Christmas we were able to provide for this deserving family!

Across Johnson County there are over 36,000 of our neighbors living below the poverty level and thousands more are 150% below the poverty level. We would like to help them all. This year there was a substantial increase in those seeking our help. Over 15,000 requested assistance this year. We served over 14,000, but there is so much more to do - and we can do it with your help.

Your year-end donation can be the caring support that thousands of children need this season.
